I think it’s working.
“Hand me the screwdriver.” said Dr. M.
He shuffled through the rusty box in search of the perfect fit.
“I think I can close it now. It looks like it’s lighting up again”.
Dr. M brushed his hair back and took off his goggles as he sat there, staring at the polished steel helmet.
In awe of what he had built, he started to sob.
He called his wife, with tears in his eyes and he said: “Finally, I’m done. I’m coming home.”
But that was the dirty little secret.
The Doctor has no idea what he just started.
